Responsibilities:
- Immerse yourself in the work of one of GCHQ’s intelligence mission teams.
- Get involved with real projects and be treated as a valued member of the organization.
- Develop mathematical techniques, analyze data sets, and assess application security as part of the Maths and Cryptography Internship.
- Gain insights into GCHQ’s use of innovative technologies through the Cyber Insights Summer School.
- Translate foreign language material, draft intelligence reports, and deliver briefings as part of the Summer Language Talent Programme.
Qualifications:
- Be a British Citizen with a parent who is a British Citizen or from an approved list of countries.
- Have been resident in the UK for 7 out of the last 10 years.
- Be in your final (or penultimate) year of university as of the 2023/24 academic year for the Summer Intelligence Internship.
Requirements:
- Have a passion for puzzles, interest in new technologies, and strong mathematical research skills.
- For the Maths and Cryptography Insight Programme, be from an under-represented group in the maths community, currently women and those from ethnic minority backgrounds.
