Program Details:

Duration:

  • Internships run for 8 weeks each summer, from July to August.
  • Open to university graduates in their first, second, or third year of study, including those with an integrated Master’s degree.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside experienced staff in your area of interest, building on existing skills and gaining new ones.
  • Contribute insights and ideas to real projects, making a tangible impact during your internship.

Benefits:

  • Paid at the London Living Wage of £13.15 per hour.
  • Financial support available for travel or accommodation expenses for interns required to be in Wellcome offices in London.

  • Access development opportunities, including workshops, networking events, and group volunteering days.

Who Can Apply:

  • Current undergraduate students partway through their studies (not in their final year).
  • Must be available for the entire 8-week programme.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Previous Wellcome interns are ineligible to apply.
